Rainier Bernhardt is a multimedia artist based out of Rensselaer, NY. Their work is heavily influenced by scientific illustration and focuses on packing together animal forms to explore juxtapositions of visual and physical texture. Using and blending multiple artistic mediums gives Rainier a wider toolkit for expressing their ideas and keeps things interesting in the studio.
Rainier earned their Bachelor’s in Studio Art from Skidmore College and has been teaching with the Arts Center of the Capital Region since the fall of 2022.
