The Arts Center’s theater, gallery and studios are available to rent for a single event or on an ongoing basis.

Jane Altes Gallery

Our gallery (1,900 sq feet) is the jewel of River Street and available for events. Our exhibitions provide the perfect background for a sophisticated event unlike any space in the region. Suggested capacity is up to 60 for seated events and 100 for stand up events, and the use of our sound system is included. Use of the kitchen and foyer gallery can be added to expand your event footprint and services. Fee $100 per hour inclusive of set up.
Price: $100/hour for any event, inclusive of set up and break down.

Blackbox Theater

Our theater (1800 sq feet) is a versatile space with collapsible seating that can be configured for seminars, full theatrical productions, dance parties or seated dining events. Suggested capacity is up to 100 seated or standing and use of two dressing rooms. Our state of the art sound package and LED light system with a EIKI EK-700LU projector and retractable screen are available for an additional fee. Use of the kitchen and foyer gallery can be added to expand your event footprint and services. Rental period is 4 hours. Fee: Monday & Tuesday: $150; Wednesday & Thursday: $250, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: $400. *Weekly rates available for theatrical productions. All rentals: After 9pm and Sundays, $30 per hour added fee.

The Foyer Gallery (1,000 sq feet) can supplement your experience in the Jane Altes Gallery or the Black Box. $75 per hour as add-on fee.

Our dance studio (1000 sq feet) features a sprung floor, ballet barres, floor to ceiling mirror and operable windows for fresh air.

Facility Rentals Mixed Media Studio The Arts Center

Drawing Studio

Uses: In this studio, students learn to transform two-dimensional surfaces with pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, and more! From basic mark-making to photorealistic renderings of landscapes and people, the skills learned here will give you the foundation to create limitless images in a variety of media. Rent the studio for teaching, or studio practice.
Price: $40/hour.
Features: Renter would be responsible for providing all materials and supplies for any activity that takes place in an Arts Center classroom or studio. Our windows open to allow fresh air in the space.

Insurance Requirement: Most rentals require proof of liability insurance declaring that the Arts Center and all of their respective officers, agents, and employees is afforded public liability insurance coverage as “primary and non-contributory additional insured” for any and all claims, including personal injury and property damage, which may be made against The Arts Center as a result, directly or indirectly, or the uses herein granted. Limits of the coverage shall not be less than $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate for personal injury and property damage.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I MAY NEED PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE TO RENT THE FACILITIES AT THE ARTS CENTER.
