In the event of inclement weather, The Arts Center may cancel or postpone classes. We generally follow TROY CSD’s cancellations/delays but with more cancellations as we have night classes. For up-to-date closing and delay information, please visit our homepage.
The Arts Center will make every attempt to reschedule classes due to severe weather. Make-up dates are added whenever possible at the end of the class session. Classes missed due to inclement weather will either be rescheduled or refunded. If The Arts Center does not close for inclement weather, you will not be refunded if you miss class.
You may also check our website or social media for potential closures due to snow.

All campers must fill out a copy of the Parent Pack to be handed in at camp drop-off. One Parent Pack per child is required if multiple members of the same household are attending. The Arts Center of the Capital Region fosters an environment of respect and inclusivity. All campers of the Arts Center of the Capital Region must abide by the Camp Community Standards (see Parent Pack). Parents/Guardians have the right to request special needs accommodations for their child(ren). The special needs accommodation request form is located in the Parent Pack. The Arts Center must receive your accommodation requests no later than 2 weeks before your child’s camp (please email a pdf of your form to Joseph Mastroianni at joseph@artscenteronline.org.), and without such notice we cannot guarantee our ability to serve your child’s needs. If your accommodation request places an undue burden on our staff, we may not be able to fulfill it. Due to funding constraints, ACCR cannot provide your child with a full-time, dedicated aide. Campers 12+ may sign themselves out of camp during lunch or at the end of camp with written parental permission (see Parent Pack). Campers who sign themselves out will not be supervised, and The Arts Center is not liable for students once they have signed out.
Child care is available for an hour before camp starts (8:00-9:00 am) and an hour after camp ends (4:00- 5:00 pm) each day. Child care per session, per child costs $15.00 and must be paid on arrival or departure. Pre-registration is not required. Child care is nonrefundable.
