Membership is one of the most meaningful ways to make a direct impact at The Arts Center of the Capital Region. Your support keeps our galleries free and accessible to everyone, delivers affordable arts experiences for youth and families, builds vital opportunities for local artists, expands creative classes, and maintains our historic facility in downtown Troy.

When you join, you keep art accessible, support regional creators, and power a vibrant creative community seven days a week.

There is a place for everyone at The Arts Center. Whether you are an art enthusiast, practicing artist, student, family, local business, or civic champion, your participation brings our shared mission to life.

Individual — $55/year
For anyone who wants to experience more art and champion creative expression across our region.

Student — $40/year
For students currently enrolled in primary, secondary, or higher education.

Senior — $40/year
For adults ages 62 and older.

Family — $75/year
For families or multiple individuals residing at the same address.

Artist Membership

$40/year | Build Your Practice. Find Your People.

Artist Membership connects Capital Region creators with the resources, mentorship, professional network, and platforms needed to advance their creative practice. Whether you are emerging, established, or exploring new disciplines, this membership provides direct tools to help you learn, collaborate, and thrive.

Artist Member Benefits

• Exclusive course access: Explorations in Art Theory with Taliesin Thomas, PhD.
• Invitations to artist networking events and studio socials.
• Access to subsidized facility use for the Black Box Theater and Dance Studio (application required).
• Priority notification for calls for art, exhibition opportunities, and special projects.
• One-on-one grant review opportunities with CEO Elizabeth Reiss.
• Dedicated grant research database office hours with Julie Brown, Development Manager.
• Complimentary small-group Branding Brainstorm sessions to refine your portfolio and outreach.
