Class proposals are accepted and welcomed.

For regular public Classes, the standard rate of pay for teaching artists is $34/hour.
Hourly rates are subject to change based on experience.

Class registration levels are monitored weekly, and low enrollment classes can be promoted on The Arts Center’s social media and newsletter.

You are also welcome to share the registration page for your class on your social media and in your newsletter if you have one.  We encourage our teachers to tag The Arts Center in any social media posts they make to promote their classes at The Arts Center.  We may feature you by sharing your posts or stories on our social media channels.

Weekly updates are sent to all teachers on staff on Tuesdays. These updates include the class’s current enrollment, and if they are slated to run or not. If classes are subject to cancellation, the Director of Programs will alert you and your students.

NEW: You can also find up-to-date enrollment levels for your class in our new attendance app!  You should have received an email with instructions to download the free attendance app onto your smartphone.  If you missed that email, check your spam folder, or log into the website.  If you’ve already been added as a teaching artist, you should be able to see instructions for downloading the attendance app in your dashboard.

Materials lists must be provided to the Director of Programs 1-2 weeks in advance of the class to ensure prompt delivery.

ACCR also has a wide variety of materials already available for use at your disposal.
