Heather Hartz-Roberge, Pottery Studio Assistant Coordinator & Instructor
Heather began her artistic journey as an illustration major in 2007, and ten years later was introduced to clay while going back to finish her degree. She graduated magna cum laude in 2020 from SUNY Buffalo State with her BFA in Ceramics and was the studio assistant for the Ceramics department. Her pottery takes inspiration from nature and folk art, working to bring her illustrations to life on functional forms. Heather has had her work in several shows in the Buffalo area before moving out to the capitol region in 2021 at which time she began to work at the Art Center of the Capital Region.
