Erin White has over 25 years of experience making wheel-thrown pottery. Erin began studying Ceramics in Michigan before moving to the Capital Region. She started learning at the Arts Center in 2007 and became a Studio Assistant in 2013. She became an Instructor in 2017, teaching beginning and intermediate-level wheel classes and helping with events and open houses. She served as the Pottery Studio Coordinator from 2020-2023. Erin focuses on teaching the basic bowl, cylinder, and plate forms in her beginner class and aims to be a patient and enthusiastic instructor who considers the individual learning styles and goals of her students. Her work focuses on earthy and rustic functional wheel-thrown forms for the kitchen and table.
