Craig has been a woodworker for 20 years, including working at Powderhouse Woodworkers in Medford, MA for principals John Everdell, Mitch Ryerson and Nathan Rome. Craig later started his own studio within Powderhouse, taking commissions from homeowners, architects, contractors and institutions such as Harvard University. He trained under notable teachers including North Bennet Street School’s Miguel Gomez-Ibanz and Steve Smith; Furniture Institute of Massachusetts’s Phil Lowe; and Worcester (MA) Center for Craft’s Warren S. Fenzi and Beth Ireland.
Craig served as treasurer of the Woodworkers Guild of the Lexington (MA) Arts and Crafts Society and as a member of the St. Louis (MO) Woodworkers Guild.
