This class is for both intermediate and advanced students. Using studio slips & glazes you will learn techniques to give more depth to your surfaces. Working from your own inspirations & vision, you will use stenciling, carving, inlay, and glaze interaction to refine your sense of surface design and hopefully produce some funky fresh pieces. If you have commercial glazes & underglaze you like to use, bring them along to experiment on surface design & glazing!
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from 1pm to 3pm on the day(s) they have class.
