Description
This class is for students who have previously studied the basics of wheel-throwing and have taken at least one beginner class. We will practice intermediate level techniques such as making lids, measuring for finished work of a desired size, shaping difficult forms such as bottles, centering larger amounts of clay on the wheel, and throwing larger pots in smaller sections and attaching them together. Student interest will help shape demonstrations offered.
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and use of basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on the day(s) they have class.
