Teaching Artist Showcase

April 16 – May 26
Reception: Friday, April 24, 6–8 PM
The Jane Altes Gallery

The Teaching Artist Showcase celebrates the talent, dedication, and creative spirit of the artists who inspire our community every day. While they guide others in the classroom, these individuals are also deeply committed to their own artistic practices, continually exploring new ideas and pushing creative boundaries. This exhibition offers a window into those personal journeys, highlighting the depth and diversity of their work.

Teaching artists play a vital role in shaping the cultural fabric of our community. They are mentors, visionaries, and storytellers, fostering creative exploration while evolving within their own disciplines. This showcase reflects both their artistic excellence and the often unseen work that fuels it.

We invite you to engage with the work, discover the stories behind each piece, and celebrate the connection between teaching and artistic expression.
