This year, we honor Rhe Potenza

For as long as Rhe can remember, she was passionate about fashion. Growing up in the Mid-Hudson Valley region, in a home as the youngest of three girls, she loved shopping for clothes an dressing her sisters. It was only natural for her to continue this passion into her future.
Before moving to the Capital Region in 2005, Rhe began her career in New York City. Starting at Bloomingdales, she worked her way up to be the buyer for Plaza Two Sweaters. From there, she became the director of allocation at Lady Foot Locker, and finished her NYC experience as a professional planner at Macy’s.
In September, Truly Rhe celebrated 19 years in business. During this time, Rhe has dazzled, wowed, and dressed the women of the Capital Region and beyond. Rhe’s unique style is second to none, as she fills her store with garments for every and any occasion. During the covid shut down, Rhe creatively started the Saturday Morning Live Fashion Show, which is ongoing and viewed by thousands every week.
Rhe’s attachment to Troy goes way beyond a location for her boutique. She continually gives back to the community by serving on boards, donating to countless fundraisers, and participating on many committees. One of her favorites is the Troy Hidden Garden tour, in which she participates. It gives Rhe great pleasure to open her garden to the public.
