What is The Paired Provisions Series?
THIS PROGRAM FOSTERS CONNECTION AND ENGAGEMENT AND OFFERS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR ARTISTS AND ART ENTHUSIASTS TO INTERACT AND SHARE PERSPECTIVES OVER A DECADENT MEAL.
We bring local restaurants and caterers into the Jane Altes Gallery so our guests can enjoy the culinary delights of Troy while they’re immersed in the art in the Gallery. This wine & dinner pairing series enriches the Arts Center’s exhibition experience by bringing together artists and the community for a one-of-a-kind evening in our Jane Altes Gallery. Guests are invited to explore the artworks while indulging in a meticulously curated dinner, alongside expertly selected wines, creating a sensory fusion of art and gastronomy. This program fosters connection and engagement and offers a unique opportunity for artists and art enthusiasts to interact and share perspectives over a shared meal. Paired Provisions continues to be a one-of-a-kind beverage pairing dinner series.
What’s new for Paired Provisions this year?
We’re mixing it up this year! In addition to the wine pairing dinners you know and love, we’ll have some other events as well. Paired Provisions Presents will break out of the wine pairing dinner mold, bringing you spirits, beers, and more.
Paired Provisions Presents: Beer vs. Wine, a Culinary Duel
Prepare for an epicurean showdown! Join us in the Arts Center’s Jane Altes Gallery, amidst the new Formative Expressions exhibition, as Certified Cicerone Dave Gardell represents the bold flavors of beer against wine expert Bill Blake’s sophisticated selections. Four courses with pairings will serve as the canvas for this delicious debate, where each sip and bite will illuminate the unique character of both beverages. Witness the artistry of pairing as you are guided through a tasting experience that explores the interplay between structure and spontaneity – mirroring the very essence of the exhibition surrounding you.
