This is an Advanced class. Prior drawing and painting experience required. If you have not taken a class with Deborah Bayly before, please send a sample of your artwork to deborahbayly@icloud.com before registering for the class to make sure you are a good fit for the class.
Take part in this advanced oil landscape painting class with a focus on strongly developing the composition. Start with a value sketch prior to establishing the image using a few simplified primary shapes. You will be encouraged to paint the landscape with your personal response and expression. Please bring a large (8×10), good quality photo to work from, or your tablet. Basic supplies will be provided, however a suggested advanced materials list can be found HERE. Please note, this class is solvent-free.
