After a brief history of this hot wax painting technique, you’ll work with collage materials to incorporate into encaustic medium to create a one-of-a-kind, 4” x 4” encaustic masterpiece. Designed to get your mixed media juices flowing, this class is a great introduction for beginners interested in encaustic, and a welcoming fun for those looking to expand their experience with the medium. Please bring a smock or apron to preserve clothing.
**Anyone with odor sensitivities should be made aware of pigment/heated wax concerns.
