Description
In this 4 session series, students will create colorful, bold abstract landscape paintings using R&F encaustic wax, in conjunction with pigment sticks. Designed for all levels, this class will explore working in pure abstraction through the use of color and movement,
using the concept of landscape as inspiration. Taking influence from seasons in the northeast, each session will focus on a different season, allowing students to explore the use of transparent versus opaque pigments. It is suggested that each student bring seasonal photographs as inspiration from which to work.
**Anyone with odor sensitivities should be made aware of pigment/heated wax concerns.
