Explore both traditional and innovative approaches to line drawing with pen and ink. Demonstrations introduce you to the different types of pens, papers, and inks. Course projects cover a full repertoire of line-making techniques, including gesture, contour, hatching, stippling, and developed and freestyle lines, as well as the use of ink washes for grounds and shading. Drawing experience is helpful, but not required. NO CLASS 10/31
