Students will construct a shield-style ring from sheet metal, learning to saw, file, shape, form and finish their piece before stamping it with their own mandala-inspired design. Brass, nickel or copper will be included, with the option to upgrade to sterling silver for an additional $120 in material fees, which covers the cost of a 3″x3″ sheet of sterling silver.
If you would like to upgrade to silver, sign up for the class via our website, and then email olivia@capartscenter.org no later than 7 business days before the first session of class. Students who request the upgrade less than 7 business days in advance will be denied.
