The Bandsaw is a remarkably versatile tool and for some it can even replace the table saw as a woodworker’s main machine. For carvers, it can be all but indispensable. This workshop will teach you how to set up and tune a bandsaw for best results with an emphasis on safety. The techniques of ripping, crosscutting, sawing curves or re-sawing thick boards into thinner ones will be explained and demonstrated with hands-on practice as time allows.
