Learn about the basics of underglaze and its application. Class will cover:
Small tiles will be available and used for teaching and practice with the opportunity for students to put a design on their own piece later in the class (pieces must be made outside of class time and be at a leather-hard stage at time of illustration).
Examples and demos will be anime character focused, but students can choose their own images for their own work.
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and use of basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from 4pm to 6pm on the day(s) they have class.
