Description
You will learn the wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques for making a wide variety of functional pottery forms including mugs, plates, platters, casseroles, teapots, and bowls, as well as non-functional forms for decorative use. You’ll also learn basic surface decoration and glazing techniques. Students with prior experience making pottery can strengthen their existing skills in this class as well.
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from noon to 2pm on the day(s) they have class.
