Realize a personal goal in clay! Working independently, you will pursue your own ceramic project objectives. Learn intermediate techniques of pinching, coiling, slab work, and much more. You will discuss technique, idea development, and contemporary hand-built ceramics. Come with ideas, personal challenges, just plain interest, and a willingness to get your hands dirty and have some fun! The studio fee covers the cost of kiln firing, 25 lbs. of clay, and a tool kit. Students in this class will also have Practice Hours from 4 pm – 6 pm.
