This class focuses on constructing sculptures with hand-building techniques like using slabs and coils. It will also go over surface design utilizing texture, slip, stain, and glaze. Demonstrations will be given to show foundational skills as well as instruction based on student’s projects. It is suitable for beginners but having some prior exposure with ceramics is beneficial.
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from 4pm to 6pm on the day(s) they have class.
