Light Up Your Holidays!
In this beginner friendly workshop, you will design and hand build your own ‘one of a kind’ glowing ceramic luminary tree. You will be guided through the steps of tracing a cardboard template onto a pottery slab, cutting the clay shape out and then adding texture. Decorative cutouts will be used to allow light to shine through the clay which is then shaped into a tree using a form for support. Heat guns will be used to dry out the clay to allow for smoothing rough edges and applying underglaze. Your tree will be bisque fired after which a clear glaze will be applied. Your tree will be ready for pick up in two to three weeks.
