Art Connects Grant Program: Supporting Artists Across the Capital Region

The Arts Center of the Capital Region is proud to share the impact of the Art Connects Artist Grant Program, which awarded $70,000 to 17 talented artists across Albany, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties.

Funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of New York, Art Connects reinforced our commitment to supporting artists at every stage of their creative journey. Whether emerging or experienced, these artists embraced new ideas and pushed the boundaries of their art forms.

The funded projects showcased the region’s diverse creative talent, spanning digital illustration, sculpture, painting, performance art, writing, and more. By prioritizing support for artists in underserved and rural communities, Art Connects ensured that all artists, regardless of background or resources, had the opportunity to pursue their creative vision.

Through these grants, the program helped strengthen the Capital Region’s arts community by fostering connections, inspiring creativity, and amplifying artistic voices.

The Arts Center of the Capital Region Grants are made possible with funding by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of New York.
