Printmakers Showcase: Commanding Color

September 25 – November 20, 2026

Reception: September 25, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, during Troy Night Out

This year’s PGNY Printmakers Showcase is a full-blown celebration of the power of color in printmaking: vibration, mood, saturation, and juicy ink; limited palettes paired with black & white for contrast and impact; subtle translucent layers, colored papers and more. Artworks incorporate a range of traditional and contemporary print techniques including screen prints, linocut and woodcuts, risographs, monotypes, etchings, lithographs, letterpress, and mixed media. The show embodies PGNY’s mission to honor and highlight the diversity of work created by contemporary artists working with print-based media.
