Held in Transition invites viewers into a space where change is not just observed, but quietly present. This exhibition moves beyond finished works and fixed narratives, instead embracing the in-between—where stillness holds tension, and transformation may unfold through subtle shifts in perception. Through this immersive experience, audiences are invited to engage with evolving forms, presences, and perspectives.

Artist Statement
I believe in people and the spaces we create together. My work explores how we navigate the world through layers of learned structures, norms, and traditions—filters that shape our perceptions and relationships. While some of these filters become barriers, I believe they can be examined, questioned, and transformed.
Through installations, performances, and shared environments, I invite participation and dialogue. My practice engages everyday rituals—gathering around food, storytelling, and movement—to create moments of presence and connection.
Working in public and site-specific contexts, I aim to spark awareness of how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the places we inhabit. Each project is an opportunity to unlearn, reimagine, and rediscover the simplicity of being human, together.

About Gossamer Bodies
This project investigates the disconnection between mind and body that stems from Enlightenment thinking and persists in contemporary digital life. Using new media, performance, trauma-informed frameworks, and immersive technologies, Gossamer Bodies offers multisensory entry points into healing and sensory cognition.
Through hybrid forms—sound, taste, tactility, 360 video, XR, experimental animation, projection mapping, and more—Tacie creates experiences that seek to dissolve binaries and evoke presence across bodies, cultures, and time.
