Awardees Announced!

The Arts Center of the Capital Region is thrilled to announce that through the Art Connects Artist Grant Program, we have awarded a total of $70,000 to 17 talented artists across Albany, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties.

Funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of New York, the Art Connects program reflects our commitment to supporting artists at every stage of their creative journey. Whether emerging or experienced, these artists share a passion for exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of their art forms.

This year’s funded projects highlight the region’s diverse creative talent, with work spanning digital illustration, sculpture, painting, performance art, writing, and more. By supporting artists in underserved and rural communities, Art Connects ensures that everyone, regardless of background or resources, has the opportunity to pursue their creative vision.

Through these grants, we continue to connect people, foster understanding, and inspire change, strengthening the Capital Region’s vibrant arts community.
