In this workshop, we will combine drawing, collage, and encaustic wax techniques to
create a series of miniature, 4” x 4” artworks. This class will explore layering techniques
to slowly build a surface with wax and paper. A direct focus of the workshop will be on
the development of a theme to create multiples, while simultaneously creating works of
art with depth and luminosity.
**Anyone with odor sensitivities should be made aware of heated wax concerns.
