This class is for both beginner and intermediate students. Handbuilding is a fun and creative introduction to ceramics. You will learn the basics of pinching, coiling, slab work, and much more. Come with ideas, personal challenges, just plain interest, and a willingness to learn. Demonstrations for guidance as well as independent studio time will give you the opportunity to create several finished pieces of pottery.
Studio fee includes 25 lbs of clay, kiln usage, and basic materials/tools. In addition to class time, enrolled students will have open practice hours from 1pm to 3pm on the day(s) they have class.
